12th Jan, 1901-Hauled wood. Got $2.90 for it. I took Old Buck & King to Chilli. to get them shoed & the shops were so full, I didn’t get home till 8:35 this evening. Got there at 9:30 this morning. According to the CPI Inflation Calculator, $2.50 in 1901 has the same spending power as $73.89 in 2019.
