18 through 23rd — Gathered corn & fed cattle every day & went to church every night but one.

17th — Mary & I went to S.S. & church. Elected new officers. Our revival has been held one week today & we have 3 “joiners”. Ma, Mary & Edith Newshafer. “Glory be to God in the highest.”

11 through 16th — Gathered corn all day, each day & went to church every night.

Sun. 10th — Mary & I went to S.S. & church meeting, today was the beginning of a revival held by Bro. O.L. Wood, Pastor of Utica Baptist Church. Mary, Ma & I went to church in eve. at 7 p.m.

6 through 9th — Hauled wood & gathered corn.

5th — Frank & I went up to the “70” & got an old cow & calf & took them to the Toby Place. Put all 20 old cows & 17 calves in Toby pasture, watered them & then gathered corn. This is a recurring mystery! Where is this Toby pasture, and is it owned by a half-sibling of Jim…

4th — Snowed last night. Fixed fence & gathered corn. Pa & John hauled the apples off today. There were 70 Barrels. 37 barrels of number ones — $2.75 each & 33 barrels of number twos — $2.00 each.
