6th – Hauled logs & stopped & brought Mary home.

Since Mary usually comes home to her parents’ house on Friday nights or Saturday mornings, she is breaking her routine for some reason and coming home a few days early.

Lots of Jesse’s days in the winter involve hauling wood to people. It is something that we do not normally consider nowadays because most of us heat our homes with electricity or natural gas. The entire community needs to stay warm, and not everyone owns a lot of land with trees that can be cut, or they do not have a lot of space to store all of their wood for the whole season, so people like Jesse can make some money bringing wood throughout the season to others who need it.
