30th – Geo. & I went S.S. Ate dinner at Ma DeLapp’s. I went to BYPU in the evening. Then up to Mary’s. Pa came home today & Cora with him.

29th – Geo. & I cut wood, salted cattle, & brought old Diligence home. Went skating on old cut-off & over to Mary’s afterwards. If anyone knows where the cut-off is, please drop a line. Perhaps it is where the Grand River and Thompson River meet?

24th – Geo. & I brought cattle down & put them on “55”.

23rd – Geo. & I went to S.S. & to Church. Bro.Wood did preaching. We went to BYPU.

22nd – Frank, Charley & I gathered the rest of the corn on the old place. John & Pa went to Aunt Lizzies & Aunt Vina’s today. Does anyone know what and where is “the old place”?

20th – George Bench came today. He & I gathered corn. Charley got 7 loads this week. Cousin George Albert Bench was up visiting from Chickasaw Nation (Oklahoma), where he and his wife Amy and kids are documented in the 1900 federal census.
