11th, Frank & I just finished the ground west of R.R. Ready for wheat. Run into 10 bumble bee nests today. Pa, Uncle Bob, Aunt Sari, Scot, Porter, Delia, Cora, Geo., John, Frank, Charley, & I all went to Chilli in the evening to a band concert.

6th, Frank & I cut a load of corn in the morning. Hauled straw & filled racks, then went & cut another load of corn in the evening. Racks are giant baskets for feeding livestock.

5th, went to S.S. at the Baptist Church & to preaching at the Methodist Church. Sermon preached by Rev. Foster. Ate dinner at Soph’s, then went to BYPU in the evening.
