19th, Cliff & I went out to Aunt Lizzie Wells. Saw Mary. We went to Church at Warner’s Schoolhouse. Edd preached the sermon, James 4:17. Got home Sun. night at 12:30.
Clifford Bagley is the 23 year-old son of William Wash Bagley and Mary A. Bagley of Green Township, Livingston County, Missouri. Clifford might be sweet on Jesse’s Cousin Nellie since Jesse mentions them together about four times in 1900. Did Jesse see Mary Frazier over in Dawn, or in Ludlow at the Warner Schoolhouse? If Jesse spent all day and most of the night in around Dawn, then Mary wasn’t in Utica that day either, but it also sounds like he wasn’t the one who gave her a ride out there.
