Sarah is Jesse’s mother.  She was born on February 5, 1849 in Mooresville, Missouri, to William R. Reynolds and Lavinia Morgan.  She married James John Bench on June 7, 1866, and they had seven kids:  Sophia, John, Jennie, Rosa, Jesse, Frank, and Charley.
