On June 20th, 1900, the federal census recorded Paul Price of Green Township, Livingston County, Missouri, as 32 years old and living with his wife Belle, two children Bryan (named after Paul’s maternal grandfather) and Genevieve (named after his home county, St. Genevieve, Missouri), and someone listed as his brother H. S. Price, although there is no H. S. in previous census records. Paul was listed as a school teacher who rented and ran a farm. He married Belle Burke on Christmas Day, 1890, in St. Francois, Missouri.
In 1910 he shows up in Liberty, St. Francois County, Missouri. Paul reports that he is a farmer, and nothing is mentioned about being a teacher.
In 1920, Paul and Belle are living at 5556 Page Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri. He is listed as a school principal. His youngest son Robert Bruce is living with them, but Genevieve is gone and possibly married. His oldest son Bryan died in 1916 at the same address. Paul died on July 7, 1924. Both father and son are buried at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington, Missouri.
